6,000 million jeans are manufactured every year and laser finishing has become the most productive and environmentally friendly technology for that purpose. The most important consumer brands insist on their manufacturers being sustainable and committed to the planet in the way that they produce their denim products.

Lasertex finishing systems are used because they are fast, clean and flexible. They give the manufacturer a powerful tool to respond to the demands of fashion and allow them to increase their production capacity.

GRINDING EFFECTS
Grinding effects are usually found on pocket edges and bottom hems edges to achieve worn-out effects.
WHISKERS AND CHEVRONS
This process reproduces and emphasizes the natural worn out lines on the hip and thigh areas. Lap fades are the streaks that radiate outwards from the crotch.
DAMAGES
This is one of the most popular distressing effects. ‘Destruction’ is an art which makes denim look unique and used. Lasers can cut the warp yarns and keep the weft yarn whilst showing white thread. Holes can also be made by cutting weft and warp yarns.
ef4 SCRAPING USED EFFECT
This effect is generally applied on rigid form garments to get a distressed look. Scraping can be usually found on the thighs and bottom areas. The purpose of this process is to give a worn out look to the garment.
HONEYCOMBS
These are the creases and crosses that develop at the back of the knees.
